Subject: QOH

Found this on the JLR site. Written by a chap who calls himself Codders

I was on the sports field at JLR 1959 when Dick Mather appeared from Tidworth wearing the QOH stablebelt,, I thought it was the most wonderful bit of kit I have ever seen (I joined the Bloody Regiment)

Actually I was stationed at Warminster at the time as part of the RAC Demonstration Sqn. one of the best jobs to be doing in the UK with crews getting plenty of what the job was all about with plenty of day & night live firing.
I'm sure there are many of you have done the same at one time or another.

I might add that 'Codders' is actually Barry Coddington who was in the same QOH Troop as me in about 1962/3
